From 2004 to 2016, he served as Audit Authority for several National Operational Programmes co-financed by the ERDF and the ESF.
In 2015, he was invited as the only Italian member of an international panel to present proposals to the European Parliament for the revision of the Europe 2020 strategy.
In 2016, he was invited by the European Commission to the “EU Budget focused on results” initiative, where he proposed changes on the topic of fund audits.

Nel 2015 è stato invitato, unico italiano in un panel internazionale, a presentare proposte al Parlamento europeo per la revisione della strategia Europa 2020.
Nel 2016 è stato invitato dalla Commissione europea all’iniziativa “EU Budget focused on results”, dove ha proposto modifiche sul tema dell’audit dei fondi.
